Game Developer

Job Context:
At Cefalo, we are currently looking for a few talented and experienced Game developers in multiple positions to join our growing R&D teams. The selected software engineers will get a chance to work with the latest technology stacks, exercising industry-standard principles & best practices to build scalable, high performance & robust software solutions for some of the big players in Europe.

Job Requirements:
  • 3 to 4 years of professional-level experience in 2D and 3D game development
  • Ability to work on a game development project independently from scratch to completion 
  • Professional level experience in a game engine like Unity or Playcanvas.
  • Very good understanding of JavaScript and/or C# as a programming language.
  • Prior experience with game development for multiple platforms - web, mobile, and desktop
  • Good knowledge of 2D and 3D character animation
  • Prior experience working with WebGL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Playcanvas to build HTML5 games/visualizations is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English to collaborate with foreign stakeholders and colleagues on a daily basis.
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Self-managed, independent, initiative, and proactive.
  • Open to learning new technologies.
  • Mindset to code and do code review for continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile/ Scrum team is a plus.
  • May need to travel to Europe.
Educational Requirements:
  • B.Sc/ M.Sc in Computer Science & Engineering from any reputed University or equivalent practical experience.
