How Cefalo AS processes your personal data.

 

Personal data are details that can be directly linked to you as an individual, such as your name, email address, and company name. Such information is necessary for us to be able to serve you as a customer.

We process personal data in connection with our marketing work. This is done, for example, by sending you relevant information you have requested.

Please note that it is not allowed to send sensitive personal data or social security numbers by email, unless the content is encrypted.

 

Purpose of Processing

The purpose of our processing of your personal data is to identify you as a customer and fulfill the agreement you have with us.

Our processing of personal data is handled by our employees. All employees at Cefalo AS are subject to confidentiality. The confidentiality obligation applies not only outside the company, but also internally between colleagues and lasts even if the employment relationship has ended.

 

What personal data is processed

Information processed by Cefalo AS can be categorized as follows:

  • Administrative information such as name, phone number, email address, job title, and the company you work for.
  • Information about behavior on our website, such as which articles you read and what you show interest in.

 

Basis for Processing

Valid processing grounds

We only collect information about you to send you relevant information you request, to fulfill an agreement we have with you, or because we consider that we have a legitimate interest that does not override your privacy rights.

If we need to process sensitive personal data to fulfill an agreement with you, we will obtain your consent to this before the processing. The consent limits the processing to only include the information necessary for Cefalo AS to fulfill the specific agreement.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. The processing of the relevant personal data will then cease.

 

Disclosure of Personal Data

Personal data may be disclosed to public authorities if this follows from a statutory duty of disclosure or disclosure obligation.

Any third parties receiving personal data from us are subject to confidentiality, through contract.

 

Storage

We do not store personal data longer than necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing. If you have a customer relationship with us, personal data will be stored about you.

All information about you is stored on secure servers, in accordance with Hubspot's data storage routines.

 

Rights to Access, Correction, Deletion, Data Portability Right to demand access

You are entitled to demand access to the information we process about you.

You have the right to know the purpose and basis for processing we use, which information about you we process, recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data is forwarded, the storage duration of the personal data, and the source of the information.

Right to demand correction and deletion

If you believe that Cefalo AS has registered information about you that is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to demand correction of the relevant personal data. You can demand that we delete personal data about you if the data is no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing, you withdraw your consent if consent was used as the basis for processing, you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for continuing the processing, or the data has been processed unlawfully.

Right to data portability

You have the right to receive personal data we have stored about you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You also have the right to demand that we transfer data we have received from you to another data controller if it is technically feasible and the processing is based on consent or contract.

 

Data Controller

The data controller is the one who determines the purpose of the processing of personal data, and which tools are used. Cefalo AS acts as the data controller and must have an overview of the processes, business areas, and systems that process personal data, and continuously monitor internal control and the risk situation.
