Front-end JavaScript Developer

Job Context:
At Cefalo, we are currently looking for a few talented and experienced front-end JavaScript developers in multiple positions to join our growing R&D teams. The selected software engineers will get a chance to work with the latest technology stacks, exercising industry-standard principles & best practices to build scalable, high performance & robust software solutions for some of the big players in Europe.

Job Requirements:
  • 3 to 6 years of professional work experience in scalable high-performance web application development.
  • Expert level knowledge in modern responsive frontend web development using JavaScript, TypeScript, and front-end JavaScript frameworks like:  React, Vue, or Angular 
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of state management in React, Vue, or Angular applications.
  • Very good understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ECMAScript 6 standard
  • Prior experience with JavaScript testing frameworks (i.e. Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Karma).
  • Professional-level knowledge and experience working with Restful APIs
  • Ability to interpret wireframes and translate visual design and user experience flows into reusable Components
  • Prior experience working with Node.js for backend API development is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English to collaborate with foreign stakeholders and colleagues on a daily basis.
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Self-managed, independent, initiative, and proactive.
  • Open to learning new technologies.
  • Mindset to code and do code review for continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile/ Scrum team is a plus.
  • May need to travel to Europe.
Educational Requirements:
  • B.Sc/ M.Sc in Computer Science & Engineering from any reputed University or equivalent practical experience.
